Retired early?

Need a regular break in your busy week?

Time on your hands?

Want to have  the opportunity to put something back into society?

New to the area?

Want to make new contacts to improve your business?

Would like to increase your social circle?

The Rotary Club of Paignton might just be what’s missing in your life!

The Rotary Club of Paignton has been active locally, nationally and internationally for over 80 years. Meeting at The Harbour Light Restaurant every Thursday lunchtime, the Club has an enviable reputation of being one of the most friendly and supportive clubs, providing  resources and services for all members of our community who require assistance.

Internationally, the club is in a position to respond instantly to major disasters by providing resources to organisations such as ShelterBox and Aquabox.

Locally, the club has recently established a major literacy project with the goal of enabling all our youngsters to read before entering secondary education. A ‘big ask’ but so was the challenge to end polio around the world, a project Rotary spearheaded and is very close in achieving.

Our club’s social programme enables partners and family and friends to join in a variety of activities just for enjoyment plus often with the benefit of raising funds for all the worthwhile causes the club supports.

There are nine clubs in the area with whom the club competes in a number of sporting activities and work with for larger projects when more resources are required.
