Our membership is made up of a group of local people who meet weekly to enjoy each other’s company whilst discussing and planning projects for charity and the community. Our club is relaxed, informal and hugely supportive of one another. We are all people who are busy in our lives but are also individuals who  want to become involved in shaping and improving our society. We want to give something back to the local and wider communities by using our time, talents, and skills to help those who do not have the same level of opportunity as we have had. We recognise that for some, life can often be a struggle and we want to support and help them in developing their own opportunities in life.

We would welcome new members from every part of the diverse community of men and women that make up Torbay’s population.

Please contact the Secretary if you want more information  or click here to go to our “Join us” page.

Council consists of the President, President elect, Treasurer, Secretary and four elected club members. It meets monthly and acts as the club executive.

There are two committees that deal with all club business in detail. Every club member is assigned to a committee and they meet monthly.

All decisions are taken at the monthly Business meeting that involves the whole club membership.

The club participates with the other eight Torbay and south Devon clubs in monthly competitive sports fixtures during the year.

Visits to other clubs:

The club officially visits at least four other local clubs each year. We also receive at least four visits in return. This promotes closer co-operation and participation in wider Rotary projects.
